I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. I elected to get place card holders with nice beads on them that doubled as picture frames for everyone to take with them. As far as gifts for our guests went, I made sure I gave them all practical favors that would also make great keepsake wedding gifts. If you’re giving a present anyway, I’ve always felt that you might as well get something that they can make use of somehow. If it has no usefullness, it’s probably going to be discarded or forgotten. I wanted our friends and family to have something they will hang on to and remember sharing our special day with us every time they use it. So I chose bistro coffee mugs for each of our friends and family’s gift. They attractive and you can get good use out of them, too. I bought a bunch of pretty hang tags to put on the boxes they arrived in, but the containers were so nice-looking that I just kept them in the boxes they came in.
Reception supplies and accessories were easy to find on the world wide web. Our wedding cake topper was really something special. I opted to pick out one that would be significant to my groom and I.
Playing football in a friend’s yard is what we were doing the first time we met. I got a couple in wedding garb in the middle of a football game to remind us that his first move on me was when he was trying to tackle me.
