Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 Is there any more effective way to express your love than to get married with a ceremony in the same month as Valentine’s Day? It seemed like a great idea me, so I opted to have my wedding day decorated with the emblem of love all over our wedding ceremony and reception. The first thing I bought was a gorgeous bridal tiara that I picked out over the Internet. The save the date cards I selected were just one of many supplies that I needed to buy for the wedding theme. The invitations I sent out were little cards with two little silver hearts on the front. The only thing I really had to do was write in the information, like the place and the date, and the rest was already filled out in beautiful calligraphy when we got them.
But that was only the beginning, after I mailed out the invitations I had to start planning the décor and ordering the supplies I would need. I bought large scarlet bows made of velvet to put on the church pews with a ribbon that would run from one pew to the next. At the altar were candelabras and our beautiful unity candle with the heart of little roses on the front. On the scene at the wedding, we put many pink and red roses mixed together, in the floral bouquet that I carried. We had doves let out of cages as my groom and I departed from the church building, and it was one extra touch that I thought was just majestic.
The wedding apparel that would be worn by those who were going to be in the wedding had already been selected. I picked out a white satin basket that had bows and lace decorating it for our flower girl. There was a white double hearts wedding themed pillow with a pair of gold hearts on it that we got for our ring boy to use, along with a white ribbon made of satin for the rings. My flower girl was going to wear a small tiara, and it was very similar in appearance to the one I had picked out for myself. She wore a pretty pink dress, made for a flower girl, and she did such a wonderful job as a flower girl and looked so brilliant that I thought she did look like royalty. The ring boy was just as cute in his small tuxedo and red boutonniere, and he did his task just as well. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. I was very glad that I chose to include both of them.
The centerpieces we had made up for the reception dinner had tiny hearts intermixed with roses that were white, pink, and red. I got a place card holder that was the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. I ordered beautiful little silver bells with a heart shaped handle that make a very lovely keepsake from our wedding day for each of our guests. Every layer of our wedding cake was adorned with small red and pink roses, and the bottom section had tiny hearts running all the way around it. There was a porcelain wedding cake topper, colored white, that fit in with our hearts wedding cake and the rest of our cake adornments beautifully.
Everything was perfect for our wonderful hearts wedding ceremony and reception. With all the fantastic heart wedding supplies and accessories I found online, we were able to afford the kind of ceremony and reception I always wanted. All the accessories were exceptional, including the beautiful heart favors we found for all of our guests. They weren’t only gorgeous, but made super keepsakes of our wedding day.
Splendid Key Chain Party Favors!
Saturday, June 6th, 2009I always thought of keychain favors as a really un splendid type of gift, until I got a look at some of them that are available online. And they are inexpensive, but some are quite well designed. It wasn’t until after I spent some time looking over and over the key chain wedding favors that were available that I began seeing them as a viable option. Some of the artwork on them depicted various wedding or honeymoon scenes, travel desinations, or scenes in nature. We decided to get these very useful key chain party favors which I liked because they doubled as tape measures. Talk about being useful. I also liked the engagement ring key chain favors, with a small rhinestone studded band. Isn’t it great that you can find keychains that well designed? It’s not just weddings either; there is a splendid key chain favor for baby or bridal showers.
There were even more options than that at this Internet site that I found. They had a wonderful selection of supplies and decorations for weddings and receptions as well. You should see the wedding cake topper we had for our gorgeous cake. It was a beautiful monogrammed cake topper with our initials in brushed silver with little sparkling crystals to add that certain elegance to an already perfect topper. We had a lovely knife cake serving set too, with handles that were designed as bride and groom wedding attire. We picked out crystal wine glasses and champagne flutes that sparkled at our table, and at our guests at their reception tables. The place card holders I got off the Internet matched perfectly with the fine china and champagne flutes. The place card holders had a rather novel look to them. They had darling little daisies in a tiny little pot and the place card fits on top of one of the daisy petals.
The splendid food and salad choices and desserts that our caterers put together for us left us blown away. The musical performers we got for our reception were an awesome choice, too. My fiance was able to pull a few strings and get one of the best local bands in the area. Whatever song you wanted to hear, this group could do it really well. They did a super job on our song for the bride and grooms first dance of the evening. One of our guests liked them so much, he hired them on the spot to play at his son’s engagement party next month.
Everything at our wedding and reception was spectacular and it just couldn’t have been better. We shot video of the wedding ceremony and our first dance as newlyweds, the photographer took all kinds of photos as well. The two memory books I got will be more than filled up with all of the pictures we took that day. For our living room, I picked out a special album to put on the coffee table, too. The frame on it is a silvery metal, and it has a pair of darling little hearts on it that just look exquisite. I also took the opportunity to order a honeymoon memory book that I could store our pictures in from our trip to Cancun. I spared no expense on making sure that I was prepared with enough memory books.
Taking my vows with my husband in front of all of our loved ones is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. There are an abundance of mementos I have stashed away to remind me what a profound and wonderful day it was. There were a lot of good memories of the honeymoon, too.

She was right, they had everything from wedding invitations to wedding favors and none of it was really expensive. They even carry super groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts along with all the other fantastic wedding items they have to offer. We were very impressed with the groomsman gift selection that was available on their shopping site. I must admit they do have the best groomsmen gifts I’ve seen so far. Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. I ordered very decorative winter wedding bulletins to send out as invitations. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. All the pieces matched and I was really surprised at the total cost of the set, it was so much lower than I would expect. I was reading up on wedding ceremonies and that since throwing petals as the bride and groom leave the church may not be exceptable in many churches and couples are substituting bubbles in place of petals.
