I knew there were a lot of wedding supplies needed when planning a wedding and reception, but I never realized just how much. I’m glad I listened to the girls at work, when they told me I better start my wedding shopping right away. I was more concerned with the dresses, tuxedos and wedding party attire, I never realized that would be the easy part. I found out there is much more to planning the wedding than just the attire. First of all I had to get out the invitations for our western themed ceremony and reception party. I started shopping for my wedding cake supplies, crossing them off the list as I go. The first thing I had written down was my country themed decorations for the reception. I decided to take a friends advice and see what there was to offer online before I started going from store to store. To my surprise, they had more than I expected.
I was able to get a lot of my reception decorations online, and they had not only my country theme accessories, but they had many unique decorations for other themes too. In the wedding accessories selection were some super cowboys hats for the bride and groom that I ordered. Believe it or not, they also had terrific western champagne flutes for the bride and groom toast. I also had them hang white christmas lights all around the reception area and scatter a few old western type lanterns here and there. Our beautiful wedding cake with the old west cake topper really added to our bridal table. Anyone could have a great western wedding using all the selections of accessories and reception table décor they have. I found everything from my wedding album to my serving set, including, little cowboy hats for our tables and a gorgeous wedding guest book and pen set in a uniquely styled western theme. I got everything for my western themed wedding and reception accessories by browsing the web, and it was all so easy to do.
Some of the reception stuff I did find at stores, like barbecue grills, hay bales and a few other things I needed. Well, I guess I should say, my fiance and his friend did that shopping. They also built a dance floor that we could all enjoy. So,we had an exceptional dance floor, a great country band to play for us and really terrific food of all kinds. There was all kinds of meat for barbecuing, like chicken, steaks, ribs and more, plus lots of different salads too. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
Some of the guests talked about how good our western accessories and decorations were. Going online to search for accessories and décor ideas really paid off. What I liked the best, was the convenience of having them delivered right to my house and all I had to do was pick out what I wanted and order them. It’s so much better than running myself ragged from shop to shop trying to put it all together.
